How interesting!: The name ‘Mista O’ came from his given name, Oliver!

What brought you to Baltimore?
I was born and raised in Baltimore City. I’m a native of the 410! I’m a rap and hip hop artist; I’m known for my music. I like to produce shows that are interesting for people, where they can come to see the main attraction.

What’s your connection to Baltimore?
I started rapping when I was in elementary school, when I was just 9 years old. I was inspired by Aaliyah, Snoop Dogg, R. Kelly, and others. I’ve performed at Douglass High School, Terra Cafe, Club One, The Depot, and other spots. I’ve learned though all my experiences how to go forward with my vision, how to be successful in my field. I became an emcee, and I look forward to releasing my next major project, The Cassette Tape Vol. 2, Tha Resurrection of Da 90s.

What do you like about Baltimore?
Baltimore makes you hunger for more success. You’re not limited to what’s in your zip code. I’m committed to figuring this out; the rap industry is big. I want to have an effect in this city, and get our music known on major avenues like DatPiff and Spinrilla.
