How interesting!:
Pamela completed a 10K race on the Great Wall of China in 2017! There were 2500+ stairs involved and seeing the ruins was an amazing experience.

What’s your connection to Baltimore?
I’ve been living in the city since 2009. Currently, I live in the Patterson Park neighborhood with my three cats. I received my Master’s degree at University of Baltimore and I’m a Digital Advertising Strategist and a part time real estate agent. I work at a digital startup in Canton Square where I help local businesses with their online advertising strategy, and on the weekends, I am a buyer’s agent in Patterson Park. I enjoy the city festivals and social sports.

What do you like about Baltimore?
I love that Baltimore has something I’m passionate about in all areas of my life—my career, social activities, animals and pets, gardening, travel, etc. I think if I were to sum it up, I would say I love that I’m able to live a free-spirited life and not feel too trapped by the daily grind. I want to help others find the same freedom in the city.

One of the things I love about the city is the neighborly feel and the social scene. I’ve made so many friends and acquaintances from going to neighborhood events, concerts, nightlife, being out at the parks, or connecting on local Facebook groups. The sense of community in Baltimore and the neighborhood vibes are amazing.

There are so many positive and quirky aspects to the city; Baltimore is a city of perseverance, resilience, teamwork, and fun. I started taking photos that represent 365 Days of Baltimore, with one photo from every day. There are so many reasons to invest in the city; there is positivity, growth, and hope.

New Baltimoreans should definitely check out:
Cats of Patterson Park: I started a Facebook group called Cats of Patterson Park. I wanted to create an outlet where cat owners of the neighborhood could get to know each other, and so that we could meet the other cats in the neighborhood-since most cats stay indoors. In the first week, I had 500 members. It’s now grown beyond Patterson Park, and we’ve reached over 2,000 members! We’ve all made new friends through our cats, have happy hours, and found a positive online forum with cute cat pictures to look forward to every day.
